John 14:18 (NLV)
Jesus Tells of His Death
18 “I will not leave you without help as children without parents. I will come to you.”
We need a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus. The best way to know Him is through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is one with the Father God and the Lord Jesus and forms part of the Godhead. When we know the Lord Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit is with us and He is our helper. In difficult times the Holy Spirit is with us and is our comforter. A spirit-filled life is what we all are striving for. Without the Holy Spirit, we cannot function as mature Christians. In studying the Word of God each day, we were our souls with the Word. It cleanses us and gives the Holy Spirit the ability to speak to us. Stay connected by being ready and studying the Bible. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you today.
Thank You, Father God, for the Word that is available to us each day. Thank You, God, that we can come to You in prayer. We want to pray for our own lives and the lives of our family and friends. Lord, without the Holy Spirit we cannot get through the day. Holy Spirit, You are welcome in our lives today. Thank You, for the knowledge that You still hear our prayers. Give us wisdom and insight and understanding. Guidance for our plans and thoughts today we pray in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen
