Psalm 7 verse 17 (TLB)
“Oh, how grateful and thankful I am to the Lord because he is so good. I will sing praise to the name of the Lord who is above all lords.”
Sometimes we forget to say thank you, I believe we fall into the habit of just expecting things to come our way. It is expected that people will treat you fairly and have good manners but if you don’t act in a similar fashion I am sure you are going to get a slap somewhere along the line.
Saying thank you and please should be always in our mouths, we should never forget to use them when speaking to people, family, and friends. Let’s look at this scenario: Picture this, you are in a restaurant and the waitrons is standing in front of you waiting for your order. You are in a bad mood. You order “Bacon and Cheeze with fried onions.” She heard Cheeze and fried onions. She brings your order after about 20 minutes, you are fuming because it took so long and when she places the plate in front of you. You blow a gasket. “This is not what I order! Are you a retard?” You shout at her. She starts to cry and you shout even louder.
I see that you are in a bad mood, you got mad for the order to be delivered and then she brought you the cheese and fried onions and no bacon.
She’s in trouble with the chef and could lose her job and you just don’t care, no one ever listens anyway. No thank you for the service will be given and no thank you tip will be given either.
This happens on a daily basis when we allow our circumstance to be dictated by our moods, we should shake it off. Start with a smile and always be friendly, kind and say thank you or please.
Can you be grateful? Are you able to show it?
You are a blessing, thank you for reading my blogs.

Stop being ungrateful
1 Thessalonians 5: 16 – 18
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Are you still rejoicing in the Lord? Giving thanks in all your circumstances? Hmm, I do believe we have fallen off the wagon. Complaining about everything, never really being grateful for what we have. Some people are so spoilt they have so much and don’t ever say thank you. It amazes me to watch people that are really well off and are so blessed with so much to see how ungrateful and menacing they have become.
Then I have seen people that don’t know where their next plate of food is going to come from and they are joyful and kind and always so happy. Always thanking you for the little they receive.
So today I won’t complain because I am really grateful for everything I have. In everything I will rejoice in the Lord for blessing me with a beautiful day, loads of fun and time to sit in the sun and enjoy peace and quiet. Thank You, Lord.
Be blessed, you are my blessing!
Thank You Lord Jesus Christ
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, ‘Do not fear; I will help you.’
This past couple of days has been hectic in my own life and that of the lives of my family. My mom and oom Frik have been under presure to move and needed somewhere to stay.
Bless Andus in his work today, give him supernatural favor with each and every person today, Lord blesses him in all his work. Lord guides him and protects him. Let no harm come to him. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over his life.
Praise the Lord our God for open the right doors for them to move into a big beautiful flat. God is so gracious and He is constantly looking out for our wellbeing.
I believe with my entire heart and mind that my God hears my prayers and I just need to learn to trust Him more. I bring You all the Praise, worship and adorations I can think of Lord Jesus Christ.
Father thank You for open doors, open hearts, and open lives, Thank You that You are in control over our lives and that You have made a way for all of us.
We praise You and worship at Your feet. Love You, with all my heart, body and soul. Amen
“We have the mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2: 16
I have been focusing all my time and attention on God’s word these past couple of days and I must tell you that I feel so exhilarated. I find that I can see things clearly and my focus is there.
The way I think isn’t necessarily the same way you think and we have different points of view concerning our thinking. To write something I need to have a topic of discussion and then put my thinking cap on. My creativity is not as great as most people I find I have to stretch myself each time I have something on my mind. My words don’t just pour out and I have to really stay focused and tuned in to write something that will be of value.
Then I am learning to ask people for their advice and see what it is that drives them and their thinking, it is really interesting because I really don’t think anything like them. My biggest problem is not seeing the big picture but understanding why other people miss the big picture. They can frustrate me at times and I want to run away.
Sometimes it is required that I must be realistic but I thank the Lord my God for common sense because you need to have common sense to be realistic at time.
As you ponder over what I have written, how is your thinking?
John 3: 16
For God so loved the world,
That He gave
Believeth in him
Should not perish,
But have everlasting life.
In John 3: 16 we see that God loves us even more than we realize, Valentine is spelled out in this verse, which I highlighted for you to see. God really thinks of everything that we are doing and even in Valentine, He thinks of us. If you don’t have a Valentine today, let me encourage you that you do have a Valentine. His Name is the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He died on a cross for your sins and loves you deeply. Should you need to talk to someone today, give Him a call. How? Start by say “Hello Lord Jesus Christ, here I am. I need You today in my own life. I don’t have a valentine but would you be my Valentine? Amen”
I believe God the Father will hear your prayer and the Lord Jesus Christ will come and live in Your heart today, and you will have eternal life. The Holy Spirit will come and be your comforter and teach and guide you as you go along today and every other day.
Be blessed today, the Father God loved you so deeply that He sent Jesus Christ of Nazareth for your sins.
Isaiah 65: 16 World English Bible
16 so that he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.
Sometimes we need to really start looking and reading our Bibles with more intent. God has so many promises for us but sometimes we miss the promise.
Keeping these words close to my heart I want to encourage you today, bless your own life and ask the Lord God to bless you abundantly. Let God’s hand rest on your life. We all know that God is the God of truth; all the former troubles are forgotten. Keep the past in the past and start stretching forward to something better?
As you sit down and think of the blessings you want to pray about asking God to bless your life, don’t forget to say thank you. We should enter His courts with thanksgiving in our hearts. Blessing and praising God’s Holy Name. We are nothing without Him, bringing Him our adoration and love.
Let’s make it part of our worship to meet the Lord in prayer, not only praying for blessings in our lives but mostly for God to come and take residence in our lives. Bless You.
