What is keeping you from your higest potential?

Psalm 42: 2 – 4 NIV “My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.  When can I go and meet with God? My tears have been my food day and night, while men say to me all day long, “Where is your God?”  These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to go under the protection of the Mighty One to the house of God with shouts of joy and praise among the festive throng.

You need to stay connected with your fellow Christians, moving forward and receiving the anointing in your own life.

Life has it’s up’s and down’s and sometimes we feel frustrated and worried that we cannot make it, but God is there with you right now.   As I focus my attention of the thirsting in my own life for God, the living God.  I come to realize that we need to stay focused, we need each other to help us move forward.  Staying connected is what makes our lives better.  You say “Where is your God?”

I say, Lord God here I am it seems that I cannot hear You today, I need You.  I know God is with me and that He watches over me.  I will shout for joy and I will praise the Lord my God among the festive throng.  Because I realize and know that I can come into His presence, He called my by my name, I belong to Him.

Be encouraged today and realize that God loved you so much that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus Christ for your life.  Praise God for His faithfulness and His grace and mercy is new every day.  Amen

Who is Christ?

Firstly Jesus Christ is called the Son of God – Ben Elohim.  So then how are we going to answer this question?  Let us look at some facts, we know that “son of man” depicts a person born of a human.  Then “son of God” depicts a person born of God.

When we look at Job 2 verse 1 “Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

It is clear that Satan in a sense must be a son of God, otherwise, he would not have presented himself to God.  Would you agree?

The Lord Jesus Christ then must have had some kind of consciousness of being a Son of God.  This must have happened sometime during His youth.  This must have taken place around the age of 12 years when he told Mary and Joseph that He was doing the work of His Father in the temple and also that He was doing His Father business.

To confirm that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God lets take a look at Matthew 3 verse 17 “And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

And when Jesus was in the desert and Satan tried to test Him we know that the Lord Jesus resisted him.  Matthew 4 verse 3 “Now when the tempter came to Him, he said:  “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

Taking this a little further when Peter was asked who he though the Lord Jesus was he responded:  “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Matthew 16 verse 15 to 17 “He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”  Simon Peter answered and said:  “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”  Jesus answered and said to him:  “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood have not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.”

Then looking at Matthew 26 verse 63 to 65 “But Jesus kept silent.  And the high priest answered and said to Him:  “I put You under oath by the living God.  Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!”  Jesus said to him:  “It is as you said.  Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”  Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying:  “He has spoken blasphemy!  What further need do we have of witnesses?  Look, now you have heard His blasphemy!”

We see that Jesus doesn’t say that He is the Son of the living God but agrees with the High Priest statement.  He could have defended Himself by saying that He was a son of God in the sense that all men are.  Then He was put under oath and then He declared His Deity, resulting in a death sentence.

Word Fast:  Criticism

James 1:26 If any man thinketh himself to be religious, while he bridleth not his tongue but deceiveth his heart, this man’s religion is in vain.

How well do you know me?  If you truly know me, you will say that I am very judgemental and probably a critical person.  I was thinking about this and truth be told you are right with your answer.  Sadly I am so sorry for my bad behaviour and I have asked the Lord God to forgive me for being so judgemental and seriously critical.

So today in all humbleness I confess I am judgemental and struggle with a critical spirit.  I also confess that I am not one that actually bridles my tongue and this has brought me enough trouble.

1 Timothy 2: 1 – 2 I exhort therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, be made for all men; for kings and all that are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and gravity.

Today I want to pray and dedicate all kings, and people in high places, that the Lord God will guide them and help them from becoming judgemental and critical.  A spirit of this magnitude can just be detrimental to all other people.  May the Lords love and grace surround them, softening their hearts, souls and minds.

So there, our fast today is on being critical, let go of the past and stretch you forward to a new being.  In Jesus Name.  Amen

Thank You Lord Jesus Christ

Isaiah 41:13

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, ‘Do not fear; I will help you.’

This past couple of days has been hectic in my own life and that of the lives of my family.  My mom and oom Frik have been under presure to move and needed somewhere to stay.

Bless Andus in his work today, give him supernatural favor with each and every person today, Lord blesses him in all his work.  Lord guides him and protects him.  Let no harm come to him.  I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over his life.

Praise the Lord our God for open the right doors for them to move into a big beautiful flat.  God is so gracious and He is constantly looking out for our wellbeing.

I believe with my entire heart and mind that my God hears my prayers and I just need to learn to trust Him more.  I bring You all the Praise, worship and adorations I can think of Lord Jesus Christ.

Father thank You for open doors, open hearts, and open lives, Thank You that You are in control over our lives and that You have made a way for all of us.

We praise You and worship at Your feet.  Love You, with all my heart, body and soul.  Amen

The mind of Christ

“We have the mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2: 16

I have been focusing all my time and attention on God’s word these past couple of days and I must tell you that I feel so exhilarated.  I find that I can see things clearly and my focus is there.

The way I think isn’t necessarily the same way you think and we have different points of view concerning our thinking.  To write something I need to have a topic of discussion and then put my thinking cap on.  My creativity is not as great as most people I find I have to stretch myself each time I have something on my mind.  My words don’t just pour out and I have to really stay focused and tuned in to write something that will be of value.

Then I am learning to ask people for their advice and see what it is that drives them and their thinking, it is really interesting because I really don’t think anything like them.  My biggest problem is not seeing the big picture but understanding why other people miss the big picture.  They can frustrate me at times and I want to run away.

Sometimes it is required that I must be realistic but I thank the Lord my God for common sense because you need to have common sense to be realistic at time.

As you ponder over what I have written, how is your thinking?

Prosperity in all things and be in health

3 John 1 – 4 (KJV)

The elder unto the well-beloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

For I rejoiced greatly when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Today as you sit reading my thoughts, I do want to challenge you today to live your life to the fullest.  Let us honor the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

John was so impressed the reports he received from Gaius who was speaking the truth to the people around him.  It sounds like Gaius was a living testimony of the Lord Jesus.  He lived, spoke and behaved like someone that knew and loved the Lord Jesus.  John felt so good about it that he wished Gaius prosperity in everything he did as well as being healthy.

Are we as Christians in our day and age able to make the same association as Gaius?  Gaius truly lived the truth of God.  John said the reports he received was a confirmation of how dedicated Gaius was.

As a woman of God, it is my heart’s desire to live my life as someone that strives to live the truth of God.  The truth of the matter is I don’t always do that and many times I miss the point.  Do you live your life to the fullest for the Lord Jesus?

I wonder how many of us would get such a beautiful report?

Thank You for reading my thoughts, you are a blessing.  I bless you today in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

God’s Orchids #Pray for #Wisdom

James 1: 5

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

Prayer is something I really love and enjoy; I can sit down behind my laptop and then start writing a very long elaborate letter to the Lord.  I can sit and write speaking to the Lord Jesus and the Father about so many things in my life.  I also revert to praying for specific people in my life, I would name each person by name and pray that the Lord Jesus will guide and protect them.  My favorite is to pray for wisdom, insight, and understanding for each person and of course for myself.

Life can through you a curve ball at any time; you may be going through something right now and be wondering how on earth I can get away from this.  I seem to fall into time slots where I feel “all out of it” then I realize it’s because I have been isolating myself from the Lord Jesus.  I get too involved with so many little things, that by the time I need to talk to God, I am so tired.

Thank the Lord Father God for constantly keeping His hand over my life, for watching over me and not letting me destroy who I am total.

Be blessed and have a wonderful day!  In the Holy Name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!
